Mental health  and wellbeing is core to everything that we do here at St Benedict's Catholic Primary School.  The health and wellbeing of children, staff and parent/carers is everybody’s business.

Mental health is defined as a state of wellbeing in which every individual recognises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her own community.  World Health Organisation, August 2014

Our whole school curriculum has Mental Health and Wellbeing at it's core.  Our PSHE curriculum, our assemblies and Safeguarding Curriculum and Computing (E-safety) ensure that each year pupils build upon their knowledge and develop a range of skills to support them.

Below, are links to external organisations that may help you. If you require any support, please contact Mr. Forde in the first instance.
